    Nightlife Description

Many of Cape Town's so called "Clubs" are merely well- adorned bars. However the hot summer nights keep the bars and various dance floors full to daybreak again ! Like most International cities, the nightlife flourishes in many forms, including nightclubs, discotheques,wine-bars,music pubs, lounges etc. Most actual clubs only get going at 11.00pm, they are open 7 nights a week and are inexpensive to enter.

Some of the best places can be found in the city centre. A suggestion is start your night in Kloof Street or at a bar in Green Point before hitting the late clubs. Also Long Street is a favourite for the Young & Hip, here you can wander in and out of pubs and clubs all night ! Also worthy of note is the array of Jazz bars & Cafe's in Cape Town.

There are so many evening entertainment venues in and around Cape Town. They cater for all types of visitors and Capetonians alike. Depending on your take, recommendations from locals or your hotel Concierge can usually point you in the right direction.
